Iditioning operates on a strict zero-server upload architecture. When you select or drag and drop spreadsheet files (.xlsx, .xls, .csv, .tsv, .ods) into our application, all parsing, matrix alignment, cell-by-cell discrepancy matching, and PDF report generation occur strictly inside your computer's web browser using HTML5 File APIs and background Web Worker threads.

Your spreadsheet contents, row identifiers, column names, cell values, and financial calculations are never transmitted over the internet, never uploaded to external servers, and never stored in any database. You can verify this at any time by executing spreadsheet comparisons while your device is completely offline or by monitoring your browser's Developer Tools Network tab.

2. Advertising, Cookies, and Third-Party Vendor Disclosures

To support ongoing hosting, bandwidth, domain registration, and independent software development, Iditioning displays advertisements served by third-party ad networks, including Google AdSense.

• Third-party vendors, including Google, use cookies to serve ads based on a user's prior visits to this website or other websites on the internet.
• Google's use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads to users based on their visit to Iditioning and/or other sites on the Internet.
• Users may opt out of personalized advertising by visiting Google's Ads Settings (www.aboutads.info or https://adssettings.google.com).

3. Analytics & Technical Performance Metrics

We collect anonymized, non-personally identifiable usage statistics using analytics services (such as Google Tag Manager and Google Analytics) to monitor website performance, evaluate navigation trends, and optimize user experience. Tracked metrics include:

• Aggregate page views, visit timestamps, and approximate geographical region (country level).
• Browser type, operating system, screen resolution, and language preference.
• Page loading speeds and technical error diagnostic codes.

We never collect, inspect, store, or transmit any document contents, file metadata, or individual spreadsheet cell data within analytics payloads.

4. Client-Side Hash URL Encoding for Shared Results

If you explicitly choose to utilize the 'Share Result' feature, Iditioning generates a unique shareable link. The comparison state is compressed and encoded entirely within the client-side URL hash segment (following the '#' symbol in your browser address bar).

Because URL fragment identifiers (hashes) are handled exclusively by client-side web browsers, hash data is never sent to or logged by our web servers. Anyone with access to the link you generate will be able to decode and view the read-only comparison state inside their browser.

5. Financial Contributions & Payment Privacy

Voluntary supporter contributions and subscription payments are processed securely by Stripe, Inc. Stripe handles all payment details in compliance with PCI-DSS Level 1 certification standards.

Iditioning does not collect, process, or store credit card numbers, CVVs, or bank account details on our servers. When you complete a transaction, we receive only an encrypted authentication token and basic billing transaction metadata (such as transaction ID and contribution amount) to activate your supporter privileges.

6. Browser Local Storage & Data Security

Iditioning uses browser Web Storage (`localStorage`) strictly to store local user preferences, such as interface language selection and active supporter verification keys. You can clear this stored preference data at any time by clearing your browser cookies and site data.
